Day 11 Friday 14th October 2011
A bit of a rest day today for me… no school today! Made a short dash to the “Lucky Mall” for some much needed snacks and necessities. What I did come across however, was something quite interesting… walking through the supermarket stumbling across the alcohol section… 1.5L bottle of Smirnoff for $8.05. I think we will be getting ourselves some of that before leaving the country.
After a fairly boring day of me doing a range of stupid Uni work and assignments, we had a few Skype conversations and got ready to head out for dinner. We went to the Mexican place… again to get some more cocktails hahaha only to be met with a beautiful storm. The rain absolutely hammering down, thunder and lighting… the works. The water was rising so fast we weren’t sure we were going to make it home on the trust Tuk Tuk so we cut our night short to lessen the risk of us walking home in the flooding water.
More Skype conversations, some interesting reading and disgusting conversations and we went to sleep. I had THE worst sleep, restless and full of some crazy dreams… maybe there is something in the food I am eating… Some happy herbs maybe? Hopefully today will improve.
